​Primarily a session instrumentalist, performer and composer, Alley has worked with, and performed as a bassist alongside 
Fleur East, Yazmin Lacey, Poppy Ajudha
and many more (see extensive list below). Her work as an instrumentalist and composer has been featured on BBC Two, BBC Four, ITV, BBC Radio 1, Worldwide FM, at the Barbican Cinema and Royal Academy of Dramatic Art's Vanbrugh Theatre. As a collaborator, Alley currently co-composes for multi award-winning all-female, Latin-jazz project Colectiva


Alley has toured extensively and has performed in prestigious venues and events around the world, including the National Theatre of Kenya, National Theatre of Ethiopia, SXSW [Texas USA], Barbican, Montreux Jazz Festival, Alexandra Palace Theatre, London Palladium, Glastonbury, Opera Universitario di Trento, Worldwide Festival Séte, One Love Festival Istanbul, Royal Festival Hall and many more. Alley also works as an artist in residence with Nzoyi Records, with whom she has recorded bass for a plethora of artists.
